Head of Support Processes (m/w/d)

In water supply, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipes, pumping stations, and waterworks.

What you will achieve with us

• Ensure the compliance, safety, and usability of technical building systems at the site by commissioning and coordinating inspections

• Initiate necessary changes/new constructions/modifications in the core areas of energy technology, air-conditioning technology, access and security technology, lightning protection systems, electrical installations, tank installations, etc.

• Manage financial resources (budget monitoring and, if necessary, reallocation of budgets)

• Responsible for fire protection at the site

• Development of the site regarding resource use and CO2 emissions

• Development of work processes considering economic and labour law aspects

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Engineering and Technical Building Equipment, Building Technology and Energy Management, Process Engineering/Environmental Process Engineering with relevant practical knowledge

• Alternatively: Technician in Building Technology, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning Technology or Civil Engineering with substantial practical knowledge in operation, maintenance, and servicing of building technology

• Experience in fault resolution service management (DVGW specialist training for reporting stations)

• SAP-PM (Plan Maintenance), SAP-MAM (Mobile Asset Management)

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and directives for the operation and maintenance of building technology systems (e.g., Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG), Federal Immission Control Ordinance (BImschV), Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control (TA Luft), Workplace Regulation (ArbStättV), Technical Rules for Workplaces (ASR), Water Resources Act, etc.)

• Strong communication skills, analytical strategic thinking, and solution-oriented action

Compensation

We offer compensation in the pay group 11 according to the collective bargaining agreement for utilities (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, a classification in a lower pay group is also possible.
