In water supply, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipes, pumping stations, and waterworks.

Description

What you will achieve with us

  • Ensure compliance, safety, and usability of building systems at the site by commissioning and coordinating inspections.

  • Initiate necessary changes / new constructions / renovations in core areas such as energy technology, ventilation technology, access and security technology, lightning protection systems, electrical systems, fuel installations, etc.

  • Manage financial resources (monitor budgets and adjust if necessary).

  • Responsible for fire protection at the site.

  • Develop the site with regard to resource use and CO2 emissions.

  • Improve work processes considering economic and labour law aspects.

Requirements

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in supply engineering and technical building equipment, building technology and energy management, process engineering / environmental process engineering with relevant practical experience.

  • Alternatively: Technician in building technology, heating, ventilation, air conditioning technology or structural engineering with solid practical experience in operation, maintenance, and repair of building technology.

  • Leadership role in fault clearance services (DVGW-certified for reporting centres).

  • SAP-PM (Plan Maintenance), SAP-MAM (Mobile Asset Management).

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and ordinances for the operation and maintenance of building systems (e.g. Federal Immission Control Act, Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control, Workplace Ordinance, Technical Rules for Workplaces, Water Resources Act, etc.).

  • Communication skills, analytical strategic thinking, and solution-focused action.

Compensation

We offer you compensation in pay group 11 according to the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, placement in a lower pay group may be possible.
