The Principle Issues area is part of personnel management. It provides support and advice on labour, social security, tax, collective bargaining law, and fundamental issues related to occupational pensions. Preserving the participation rights of employee representatives in collective legal matters is also part of the area's responsibilities, as is initiating and carrying out individual labour law measures.

Description

What you'll do with us

  • Assess legal situations and develop and formulate recommendations for action for department or HR management, especially in the areas of data protection, occupational pensions, and other benefits involving salary conversion

  • Identify requirements for adjustments and changes due to amendments to laws or other frameworks

  • Draft procedural instructions and regulations

  • Prepare publications on HR topics for internal company communication

  • Create and introduce standards in the HR department to ensure uniform legal application

Requirements

What you bring

  • Completed Master's degree in law (e.g., business law, corporate law, labour law, administrative law, public law) or a completed Master's degree in business studies with a focus on law and relevant work experience

  • Alternatively: Bachelor's degree in law with relevant knowledge in labour and collective bargaining law, or a law degree with first state examination and relevant knowledge in the aforementioned areas

  • Good knowledge of labour and collective bargaining law, especially occupational pensions through salary conversion, is essential

  • Ability to work with legal materials and other sources (e.g., case law, tariffs, etc.) and identify needs for change

  • Clear communication of information to target audiences

  • Desirable knowledge: data protection, VBL, tariff knowledge

  • Reliability and independence

Compensation

We offer remuneration according to pay group 12 of the Collective Agreement for Public Services (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, a lower pay group may apply.
