IT Asset Manager (m/f/d)

What You'll Be Doing with Us

• Support teams and departments in standardising, analysing, and sustainably optimising their processes

• Further develop the IT Asset Management Tool, providing a comprehensive overview of all IT assets and serving as a basis for informed decision-making

• Significantly shape the asset management mindset within the company, answer questions about the lifecycle of IT assets at any time, and actively advance the digitalisation strategies of Berliner Wasserbetriebe

• Maintain an overview of existing IT assets and report regularly and systematically on their status to management

Your Qualifications

• Completed university degree (Master’s) in Economics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Project and Process Management, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Service or Quality Management, with relevant knowledge in implementing technical and organisational processes and experience in process design

• Alternatively: Bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned fields or Operational IT Professional/Strategic IT Professional/IT Business Manager or IT Specialist with extensive expertise in IT Asset Management and relevant professional experience in proactive and strategic management of acquisition, utilisation, maintenance, and decommissioning of IT assets, process design, process rollout, process control, and reporting, as well as additional knowledge equivalent to a Master's level education

• Practical and comprehensive knowledge in IT Asset Management and IT asset management tools

• Process knowledge (including DIN ISO 9001, 19770, 20000, 27000, and 27001) and experience in process design (e.g., BPMN models)

• ITIL certification

• Independent and structured working style, strong analytical skills, self-motivation, communication strength, process thinking, goal orientation, persuasiveness, and teamwork

Compensation

We offer compensation in pay group 12 according to the Collective Agreement for Public Utilities (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification in a lower pay group may also be possible.
