Description

As an IT Service Desk Specialist at Lowell

  • you will be responsible for receiving, coordinating, and distributing incident, service, and change requests, as well as recording any disruptions in the company via email, phone, and in person

  • qualifying and prioritising fault reports for forwarding to 2nd level support

  • documenting issues in the ticket system and providing direct solutions to a large proportion of inquiries

  • assisting with internal and external relocation projects

  • supporting the setup of new workstations at the Essen site and installing new hardware components (PCs and laptops)

  • handling defective hardware components and setting up printers, including patch management, will be part of your tasks

Requirements

Join our team if you

  • have completed training as an IT specialist or have a comparable qualification

  • bring strong communication skills and consider responsibility, flexibility, perseverance, and teamwork as a matter of course

  • have excellent knowledge of common Microsoft products (MS Office, Windows 11) as well as a solid understanding of current standard hardware (desktop, laptop, printer)

  • possess high customer friendliness and an analytical and solution-oriented approach to work

  • have a strong service and quality orientation, coupled with a high sense of responsibility

  • ideally have basic ITIL knowledge
