The Corporate Communication department of Berliner Wasserbetriebe handles internal and external communication. We work in an integrated, topic-oriented manner and utilize press work, public affairs, campaigns, events, and digital communication.

Description

What you'll achieve with us:

  • Leading the Internal Communication and Topic Management team.

  • Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communication.

  • Managing and directing company-wide internal communication from the intranet to events, based on a coordinated communication approach aligned with corporate objectives.

  • Conceptualizing and implementing communication strategies for change projects.

  • Strategic topic management: Responsible for planning and implementing internal and external content within the intranet and other corporate communication channels (including social media editorial and community management).

  • Budget and resource planning, managing external service providers.

  • Involvement in crisis communication.

Requirements

What you bring:

  • A Master's degree in Communication Studies, Media Studies, Journalism, or Humanities with relevant expertise in corporate communication, editorial, or agency operations.

  • In-depth knowledge of collaborating with senior and executive management.

  • A modern, trust-based leadership style.

  • Expertise in internal communication and topic management, preferably with experience in change projects.

  • Experience in managing editorial departments and communication channels.

  • Skills in planning, implementing, and evaluating communication measures.

  • Cross-functional understanding, conflict resolution skills, and goal-oriented leadership.

  • Confident presence, decision-making skills, and integrity in handling internal company information.

Compensation:

We offer a salary according to pay scale group 13 under the Tarifvertrag Versorgungsbetriebe (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification could be in a lower pay scale group.
