In water supply, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipes, pumps, and waterworks.
Description
What You Will Do With Us
Lead the Standpipe Services team, currently consisting of 5 employees
Coordinate work processes to ensure timely provision of standpipes for various events, including handling deposits and contracts
Create conditions to ensure compliance with all technical, hygiene, and legal standards relating to the mobile water supply, in line with current regulations
Collaborate with internal departments, such as the lab, and external partners, such as health authorities, to ensure smooth operations
Conduct complex consumption billing
Handle customer inquiries and complaints
Requirements
Your Qualifications
Completed bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or business administration, along with relevant knowledge in the required areas
Alternatively: Certified industrial master, technician, or specialist with extensive knowledge in consumption management, environmental protection technology in water supply and sewage, building technology, heating, ventilation, and plumbing technology, with a solid understanding of fluid mechanics, control and regulation technology, as well as relevant professional experience and additional knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's level education
Strong knowledge of legal principles, especially contract law
Comprehensive understanding of drinking water installation regulations and TVO
Class B driving licence
Leadership skills
Problem-solving ability
Required driving license

Compensation
We offer remuneration according to pay group 9 of the Utilities Collective Agreement (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification into a lower pay group may be possible.
