Head of Standpipe Service (m/w/d)

In the water supply sector, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipelines, pumping stations, and waterworks.

What You'll Do with Us:

• Leading the Standpipe Service team, currently consisting of 5 members

• Coordinating work processes to ensure timely provision of standpipes for various events, including handling deposits and contracts

• Creating conditions to comply with all technical, hygiene, and legal standards related to mobile drinking water supply, keeping them up to date

• Collaborating with internal departments, such as laboratories, and external partners, like health authorities, to ensure smooth operations

• Conducting complex consumption calculations

• Handling customer complaints

Your Profile:

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration with relevant task-related knowledge

• Alternatively: Certified Industrial Foreman, Technician, or Specialist with extensive knowledge in consumption management, environmental protection technology in water supply and disposal, building technology, heating, ventilation, and sanitary technology, with profound knowledge in fluid mechanics, control and regulation technology, as well as relevant job experience and additional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's level education

• Comprehensive knowledge of legal frameworks, especially contract law

• Extensive knowledge of the regulations for drinking water installation and the TVO

• Driver's license class B

• Leadership skills

• Problem-solving ability

Compensation

We offer compensation in tariff group 9 according to the Collective Agreement for Public Utilities (TV-V). Depending on your personal qualifications, placement in a lower tariff group may occur.
