In water supply, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of wells, pipeline networks, and waterworks.

Description

What you'll be driving at our company

  • Leading a team of 15 to manage all investment projects according to the rehabilitation strategy for the drinking water pipeline network from planning to construction

  • Coordinating and ensuring comprehensive maintenance of assets

  • Responsible for the forward-looking hydraulic assessment of the drinking water pipeline network, commercial management of contracts, and ensuring technical reporting

  • Coordinating and managing framework agreements and structural repairs of water supply buildings

  • Developing well-founded decision-making bases for higher management

Requirements

Your qualifications

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering, Process Engineering with a focus on Pipeline Construction, or Industrial Engineering with relevant job-related expertise

  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in water procurement and distribution processes, particularly in urban civil engineering

  • Knowledge of water extraction and treatment facilities

  • Knowledge of legal frameworks, especially in construction, environmental, emissions, and waste law, as well as nature conservation law

  • Leadership experience and the ability to motivate, develop, and successfully unite people

  • Knowledge of procurement law (VOB / VOL, HOAI)

  • Strong analytical thinking skills and structured working methods

  • Confident demeanor, intercultural competence, and excellent communication skills

  • Willingness to learn and perform

Compensation

We offer you compensation in pay group 13 according to the collective bargaining agreement for utility companies (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification may also occur in a lower pay group.
