Here's What Awaits You:

Throughout your 3-year training, you'll experience every aspect of a Block House Restaurant: from preparing our classic dishes in the kitchen and at the grill to providing service that makes every visit special. You will learn how small gestures can create great joy – and together, achieve true moments of success.

• Creating Guest Experiences: You will be actively responsible for ensuring our guests feel completely at ease. From setting tables and taking orders to serving. With your friendly demeanour, you make every visit a unique experience.
• Ensuring Quality: Cleanliness, orderliness, and an inviting atmosphere are your responsibility. Together with the team, you ensure consistently that everything is perfect and guests feel welcome at all times.
 • Managing Processes: You will take responsibility as the link between kitchen, service, and guest to ensure everything runs smoothly. With team spirit and clear communication, you make sure every action is precise.
• Taking Responsibility: You will gain initial leadership experience and assist in coordinating smaller tasks within the team. This way, you learn how to organise tasks and support the team.
• Understanding Operations: You will gain insights into commercial areas like basic accounting, inventory management, and cost control. This way, you learn how decisions are made and how a business operates successfully.

We Expect from You:

• You have a desire to work as a host/hostess with initial leadership experience.

• You stand out in dealing with people through positivity and warmth.

• You have a mid-level school diploma or a comparable qualification.

• You were not just present at school, but engaged. You've demonstrated that you can be relied upon through punctuality, reliability, and genuine commitment.

• You take tasks seriously and actively contribute.

• You have initial experience in gastronomy or retail.

Additional Details: 
We pay according to the collective agreement, DEHOGA Bundesverband
 1st Year - €900 Gross
 2nd Year - €980 Gross
 3rd Year - €1070 Gross 
Holidays: 26 days in a full calendar year 
Training Duration: 3 years, a shortening to 2.5 years is possible with very good performance both academically and at work!
