Sparda-Bank Berlin

Sparda-Bank Berlin is more than a bank. As a cooperative employer, we focus on people – their life paths, experiences, and perspectives. We do banking for, with, and by people, shaping our work environment the way we want to experience it: fair, open, on equal footing, and meaningful. We describe our culture as β€œunexpectedly human.” Work means more to us than performance: it is about relationships, interactions, and co-creating. We rely on self-responsibility instead of control, collaboration instead of hierarchy, and diversity instead of uniform thinking. Every life situation counts – regardless of origin, educational path, religion, age, or identity. As an employer in a diverse region, we know that many of our colleagues bring different perspectives and backgrounds, enriching our teams and strengthening our understanding of various life situations, making us more sensitive to interactions with each other and with our customers. That's why we take a clear stand against racism and discrimination and actively promote a prejudice-free work environment. Since 2022, we have been a signatory of the Diversity Charter.Diversity for us is not just a stance but a practice: through participatory processes, networks, dialogue formats, and the conscious promotion of different perspectives. This is also reflected in the positive feedback from our employees – as evidenced by our repeated awards as a kununu Top Company. We believe: A bank is future-proof when people feel seen, safe, and effective. That's what we work on – every day, together. We are the bank for the East, offering attractive banking for, with, and by people.
