In water supply, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipes, pumps, and waterworks.
Description
What You Will Achieve With Us
Local construction supervision for new builds
Replacement, maintenance, and repair of utility connections (HOAI Phase V – VIII) in foul water, stormwater, and combined sewers
Drinking water and special drainage procedures (e.g., pressure drainage)
Coordination with all companies, administrations, and internal departments involved in construction within Berliner Wasserbetriebe
Construction preparation and completion tasks, including approval applications, acceptance, documentation, and system maintenance
Requirements
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering specialising in underground engineering, process engineering, or urban water management
Alternatively, a technical qualification in underground engineering or process engineering with several years of professional experience in underground and pipeline construction
Knowledge of site security according to RSA
Basic business management knowledge
Knowledge of construction law and road construction (HOAI, VOB, VOL, BerlStrG), especially in urban areas, special use, trenchless replacement, and repair procedures
Negotiation skills, customer orientation, excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, and good self-organization

We offer you remuneration in pay group 10 according to the collective agreement for public utilities (TV-V). Depending on your personal qualifications, classification in a lower pay group might occur.
