We, the Target & Strategy team, develop strategic and conceptual guidelines for plants and networks within the Wastewater Disposal unit (strategies, site development concepts, drainage concepts, etc.) and take on asset and order management as well as controlling.

Description

What you'll achieve with us

  • Evaluating, overseeing, and reviewing indirect discharges according to company regulations

  • Ensuring the monitoring of indirect dischargers and identifying culprits of unauthorized discharges

  • Monitoring and sampling wastewater dischargers from businesses, industries, and public institutions

  • Issuing approval notices

  • Ensuring network monitoring (sampling in pump stations and sewer systems)

  • Timely forwarding of reportable information and collaborating with authorities

  • Advising and supporting indirect dischargers

  • Preparing offers and processing orders

  • Planning and executing administrative tasks related to indirect discharge monitoring

Requirements

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with relevant professional experience

  • Alternatively: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Protection, Water Management, Process Technology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Process and Environmental Engineering with relevant professional experience

  • Excellent knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment processes

  • In-depth knowledge of wastewater law, technology, and analysis

  • Knowledge of municipal wastewater drainage and treatment processes, as well as knowledge of public sewer and pumping station systems

  • Knowledge of sampling, measurement technology, laboratory work, including DIN 38402-A11, AQS-Merkblatt P-8.1

  • Proficiency with related software such as QGIS, LIMS

  • Solid understanding of administrative law

  • Class B driving licence

Required driving license

  • Car (B, BF17, BE)
