In the Planning and Construction - Works department, we are responsible for planning, construction supervision, and project management of all projects related to water, purification plants, pumping stations, and buildings. We are looking for reinforcement for our project management group for our wastewater pumping stations.

Description

How You Will Make an Impact with Us

  • Managing small and medium-sized investment projects within the Pump Stations and Buildings specialist team

  • Leading projects with an investment volume of up to €5 million in all phases as per AHO (Project Preparation/Planning/Construction Execution) for new builds and renovations during ongoing operations in our wastewater pumping stations throughout the city

  • Directing and coordinating the timely, quality-focused, and cost-efficient project processing by internal specialist departments and/or external engineering firms

  • Working in interdisciplinary project teams to tackle the challenges of increasing investments in wastewater drainage

Requirements

Your Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Project Management in Construction, Industrial Engineering in Construction, or related relevant professional experience

  • Alternatively: Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Process/Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or Energy Technology with relevant professional experience

  • Several years of experience in project management and/or project control of complex projects

  • Experience in planning, tendering, and awarding of engineering and construction services; experience in construction supervision, site management, commissioning, and technical documentation

  • Comprehensive knowledge in relevant engineering disciplines and topics: public and private construction law, HOAI, AHO guidelines, VOB/VOL/VgV, as well as basic business knowledge

  • Proficient in IT (MS Project, MS Office, AVA)

Preferable:

  • Focus in Project Management or training as a Project Manager or equivalent further training

  • Experience in public construction

  • Flexibility, analytical thinking, conceptual, structured, and team-oriented work approach

  • Competence in leading interdisciplinary teams, strong constructive communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively

  • Class B driving license

Required driving license

  • Car (B, BF17, BE)

We offer a salary in pay group 12 according to the TV-V (Tariff Agreement for Utilities). Depending on individual qualifications, a classification in a lower pay group may also be possible.
