Specialist in Industrial Process Simulation for Water Supply (m/f/d)

What You Will Do With Us

• Modelling of individual units, functional groups, and production lines of the entire extraction, treatment, and supply process in water supply using state-of-the-art modelling tools

• Creating detailed dynamic process simulations for the training and development of our employees

• Further development of existing complex simulation models to meet updated training requirements

• Development of educationally sound training concepts for the training of our staff

• Implementation of learning concepts in AQUA.learn

• Planning, coordinating, and conducting seminars for our employees

• Developing simulations for disturbance and emergency scenarios

Your Profile

• Master's degree or Dipl.-Ing. in Process Engineering, Automation Technology, or Simulation and Experimental Technology with relevant professional experience

• Alternatively: Master's degree or Dipl.-Ing. in Natural Sciences or Mathematics with relevant professional experience

• Long-term practical experience as an operations engineer or shift leader in a waterworks operation is essential

• Extensive knowledge of the automation software iFix and the database system ACRON

• Excellent educational skills, combined with strong communication abilities

• Desirable: Knowledge of currently used simulation and modelling tools (WinErs, WinMod, Epanet)

Compensation

We offer a salary in group 12 according to the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification in a lower pay group may apply.
