In wastewater management, we ensure the removal of wastewater and rainwater from the entire Berlin city area to the treatment plants. We build, operate, and maintain our sewers, wastewater pipelines, and pumping stations.
Description
What you will be doing with us
Conducting inspections and condition assessments of wastewater facilities within the sewer system
Securing the work site against accident hazards
Performing visual inspections (regular, as needed, or upon completion of construction work)
Inspecting drainage systems for structural and operational condition
On-site facility inspections, identifying damages, documenting, and initiating first measures for hazard prevention
If necessary: Installing necessary shut-off technology in wastewater facilities and monitoring functionality
Setting up and operating an overpumping service
Assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of various drainage systems
Monitoring traffic safety at construction sites
Requirements
What you bring
Completed training as a specialist in pipe, sewer, and industrial services or as a supply and disposal technician with comprehensive knowledge in relevant tasks
Alternatively: Completed training as a wastewater technology specialist with comprehensive knowledge in relevant tasks
Extensive knowledge of public sewer system facilities
Excellent software skills (e.g., UBI, geographic information systems)
Skills in specialised technology for operational tasks at wastewater facilities
Knowledge of environmental protection and occupational safety
Driver's licence class C
High customer orientation, reliability, and teamwork skills
Required driving license

Compensation
We offer you compensation in salary group 5 according to the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, a classification in a lower salary group may also be possible. Additionally, a TV-V allowance will be paid.
