We, the Goals & Strategies team, develop strategic and conceptual guidelines for works and networks in the wastewater management unit (strategies, site development concepts, drainage concepts, etc.) and take on asset and order control as well as controlling.

Description

What You'll Do With Us

  • Strategically plan the development of the sewer network and create the necessary action plans

  • Conduct, validate, and evaluate hydrodynamic and hydrological sewer network and pollutant load simulations

  • Develop pollution and stormwater management concepts for the growing city (residential building sites, old residential areas, road construction projects) considering state goals for rainwater management

  • Create concepts and feasibility studies for water quality management measures

  • Prepare hydraulic assessments for house connections and development plans, for example

Requirements

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Urban Water Management, with solid knowledge in job-related tasks

  • Alternatively: Bachelor’s in Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Management or Civil Engineering with a focus on Civil Engineering, with solid knowledge in job-related tasks

  • Experience with hydraulic calculations and planning of wastewater disposal facilities

  • Good knowledge of relevant legal regulations (e.g., WHG, WRRL)

  • Business management knowledge

  • Knowledge in the area of HOAI

  • Desirable: Expertise in hydraulic calculation programs (Hystem/Extran; KOSIM XL; Infoworks), GIS applications, and AUTO-CAD

  • Moderation and presentation skills

  • Conceptual strength

  • Effective communication and persuasion skills

Compensation

We offer a salary in pay group 11 according to the collective agreement for public utilities (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification may also occur in a lower pay group.
