Senior Construction Manager in Cross-Media Network Construction (m/f/d)

What You'll Achieve with Us

• Deliver services in accordance with HOAI for service phase 8 (Construction Management) and service phase 9 (Project Support and Documentation) for construction measures on the drainage and pressure pipeline network (cross-media network construction, MÜN) of Berliner Wasserbetriebe in public street land across various districts in Berlin

• Supervise and control projects to ensure adherence to timelines, quality, and cost within the area of responsibility

• Lead a team of up to 8 site managers in a cooperative and partnership-oriented manner for the local supervision of network construction projects

• Develop concepts for improving workflows and quality assurance

What You Bring

• A university degree (Diploma/Master’s) in Civil Engineering or Water Management and relevant professional experience

• Alternatively: A university degree (Diploma/Master’s) in Industrial Engineering, Construction with substantial job-related experience

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in urban civil engineering

• Extensive knowledge in construction management/supervision of water supply and sewerage network systems

• Understanding of construction law, HOAI, and contract law (VOB, VgV)

• Basic knowledge of road construction and waste management

• Basic economic knowledge

• IT skills: EMS-Office, MS Project, MapInfo

• Driving licence class B

• Desirable: Knowledge of BWB internal regulations and ASS, as well as knowledge of the Infrest platform

• Leadership skills, high stress resilience, conflict resolution skills, and assertiveness

• Moderation and presentation skills

Compensation

We offer you compensation in pay group 12 according to the Tarifvertrag Versorgungsbetriebe (TV-V). Depending on your personal qualifications, a lower pay group may also be considered.
