Become part of the Technical Service team. We are the backbone ensuring all processes and systems run smoothly so that Berlin's supply and disposal infrastructure, area and building management, and all vehicles operate successfully.

Description

Your Responsibilities with Us

  • Exercising technical and disciplinary leadership of the assigned workshop area

  • Ensuring flawless operation of water and wastewater management systems in the third-party business of Berliner Wasserbetriebe

  • Responsible for maintenance, fault analysis, troubleshooting, servicing, new installation and modernisation of mechanical, electrotechnical and automation systems in water and wastewater management

  • Comprehensive customer support and technical advice for plant owners regarding maintenance cycles, plant renewals, investment measures and system technology optimisation

  • Continuous planning and management of the department's budget

Requirements

Your Profile

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical and Information Technology with comprehensive knowledge in job-relevant tasks

  • Alternatively: Certified Master Technician or State Certified Technician in Electrical and Information Technology with a focus on automation technology or mechatronics, with comprehensive knowledge in job-relevant tasks, along with additional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's level

  • Extensive experience in the maintenance of water and wastewater management systems and automation systems

  • Deep experience in electrical engineering with comprehensive knowledge of applicable standards, legal requirements, and regulations

  • Detailled knowledge of the Drinking Water Ordinance and VDI/DVGW 6023 Cat. A

  • Knowledge of SAP and MS Office

  • Required: Class B driver's licence

  • Team player, leadership skills, customer orientation, and communication skills

Required driving license

  • Car (B, BF17, BE)

Compensation

We offer a salary in pay group 10 according to the collective agreement for utilities (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, the classification may also be in a lower pay group.
