In water supply, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipes, pumps, and waterworks.
Description
What you will achieve with us
Lead and further develop the consumption management department, including responsibility for personnel, budget, and processes
Ensure economic and compliant operation of the water meter and measurement infrastructure as well as billing foundations
Guide and further develop staff while optimising workflows and processes
Develop and implement digitisation strategies in metering (Smart Metering, IoT, data-driven analyses)
Create customer-oriented solutions
Represent the company in specialist committees and projects
Requirements
Your profile
Master's degree in supply engineering, engineering (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) or industrial engineering, along with relevant professional experience in water management, metering, measurement and control technology, or comparable technical infrastructure sectors
Mandatory: Profound knowledge of measurement and calibration law as well as DVGW regulations
Strong understanding of water distribution networks, measurement, and billing systems
Several years of leadership experience
Innovative capacity, results-oriented actions, and knowledge in employee development
Knowledge in project and process management
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Desired: Knowledge of ERP and asset management systems as well as digital metering technologies and municipal public services

Compensation
We offer remuneration according to salary group 14 under the Collective Agreement for Utility Companies (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification into a lower salary group may occur.
