In the Planning and Construction - Networks division, we are responsible for planning, tendering, and supervising the construction of all drinking water supply lines, sewage pressure pipelines, canals, storm and combined water storage tanks, and outfall structures in Berlin.

What You'll Do With Us

  • Lead the Procurement Preparation Networks group with budget responsibility for all network construction measures within the framework of area-specific handling of HOAI phases 6 and partially 7

  • Personnel responsibility for approximately 35 employees (f/m/d): Goal-oriented and performance-focused leadership, ensuring an efficient personnel structure

  • Responsibility for implementing targets from BWB strategies and the annual investment volume

  • Responsibility for quality assurance of the tender documents in cross-media network construction in terms of factual, technical, and contract law aspects

  • Conduct negotiations with senate and district offices, investors, etc.

Requirements

Your Profile

  • Academic degree (Master's) in Civil Engineering specialising in Structural Engineering or Urban Water Management, and relevant practical knowledge

  • Alternatively: Academic degree (Master's) in Industrial Engineering (Construction), Urban Infrastructure Planning, Geosciences, or similar fields with relevant practical experience

  • Essential knowledge: Comprehensive understanding in procurement preparation, urban civil engineering, road construction, waste management, application of collective agreements, construction law

  • Leadership skills, analytical thinking, strategic, goal-oriented and structured approach

  • Delegation and communication skills as well as resilience

  • Desirable knowledge: Familiarity with VOB, HOAI, MS Office, California.Pro/X, AI Vergabemanager, ASS

Compensation

We offer remuneration in pay group 13 according to the Tarifvertrag Versorgungsbetriebe (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification into a lower pay group may occur.
