We in wastewater management ensure the drainage of wastewater and rainwater from the entire Berlin urban area to the treatment plants. We build, operate, and maintain our sewers, sewage pressure lines, and pumping stations.

Description

What You Will Do with Us

  • Responsible for high-level technical tasks related to the maintenance and renewal of sewage pumping stations

  • Planning, examining, and coordinating complex investment measures in the area of sewage pumping stations to ensure wastewater transport

  • Conducting deviation and root cause analyses of the wastewater pumping stations' systems

  • Analysing disturbances, conducting malfunction analysis, and developing suggestions to optimise processes and equipment at the plants

  • Acting as a corporate project partner

  • Initiating analyses and special investigations for optimisation

  • Exploring new technologies for plant operations, conducting tests, preparing decision templates, and integrating them into operations

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering (Construction) or Civil Engineering specialising in Urban Water Management with extensive relevant knowledge in position-related tasks

  • Extensive knowledge of process flows and systems for wastewater disposal from structural, hydraulic, mechanical, and operational perspectives

  • Good business management knowledge

  • Knowledge of construction law (HOAI, VOB, VOL) as well as environmental protection and occupational safety

  • Knowledge of the Water Resources Act and State Water Act as well as system-related specialized software, e.g., PI, GIMBAA, SAP

  • Project management skills

  • Responsibility and quality awareness

We offer you remuneration in pay group 11 according to the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V). Depending on personal requirements, classification into a lower pay group is also possible.
