Description
What You'll Do with Us
You perform maintenance and repair work on the pipeline network
You create trenches, fix pipe damages, and repair or replace fittings in the drinking water network
You also drive vehicles, possibly with trailers, and operate construction machinery as per your qualifications
You document changes in the network using Berliner Wasserbetriebe systems
You operate equipment for drinking water distribution (shutdowns, flushes)
You wish to use your skills and enthusiasm to contribute to Berlin's water supply
Requirements
What You Bring
Completed training as an engineering technician in civil engineering with knowledge relevant to the position
Alternatively: Completed training in a recognised vocational field of metal processing/utilities industry with extensive knowledge relevant to the position
You are interested in the technology and functioning of the drinking water distribution network
Knowledge in urban civil engineering according to DIN 4124
Ideally, you have a construction machinery license and a C1E or CE driving license or are willing to acquire these
You are accustomed to working diligently with high standards for quality and hygiene
You are reliable, physically fit for the work, and a team player
Required driving license

What We Offer
Compensation
We offer you a salary of 48,000 to 56,000 euros annually, in line with the tariff agreement for utility companies (TV-V), plus an allowance according to TV-V.
