Investment Management/Operational Tasks Associate (m/w/d)

What you'll achieve with us

• Develop, plan, review, and coordinate particularly complex investment measures in wastewater management with overarching strategic importance to ensure efficient and uninterrupted wastewater treatment

• Initiate needs assessments and create complex task specifications for strategic investment measures (including new facilities and treatment stages)

• Review particularly complex construction design documents, execution drawings, and process flow diagrams for construction measures in pumping stations and treatment plants

• Analyse deviations from the target state

• Contribute to the development of site development concepts

• Advise the organisational unit on strategic issues

Your qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering Construction, Urban Water Management, Environmental Engineering, or Civil Engineering with profound knowledge of relevant tasks

• Alternatively: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering Construction, Urban Water Management, or Civil Engineering with profound knowledge of relevant tasks

• Relevant experience in implementing complex construction projects

• Specific knowledge of processes and technical equipment in wastewater management

• Extensive knowledge of plant construction in the water management sector

• Good business management knowledge

• Knowledge of construction law, environmental protection, and occupational safety

• Understanding of the Water Resources Act and the State Water Act

• Analytical thinking, result orientation, and strong team and communication skills

Remuneration

We offer remuneration according to pay group 12 of the Collective Agreement for Public Utility Companies (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification may be in a lower pay group.
