We, the Technical Management division, ensure wastewater distribution for Berlin & its surroundings through the areas of operational tasks & infrastructure, process control & operational data, plant expansion, wastewater management, and control systems.

Description

What You Will Do with Us

  • Develop, plan, review, and coordinate particularly complex investment projects in wastewater management of overarching strategic importance to ensure economical and trouble-free wastewater treatment

  • Initiate requirement assessments and create complex task definitions for strategic investment initiatives (including new facilities and treatment stages)

  • Examine particularly complicated construction design documents, execution drawings, and process engineering diagrams for construction measures in the pumping and sewage treatment sectors

  • Analyse deviations from the target state

  • Participate in developing site development concepts

  • Advise the organisational unit on strategic issues

Requirements

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Construction Management, Municipal Water Management, Environmental Engineering, or Civil Engineering with solid knowledge in relevant tasks

  • Alternatively: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Construction Management, Municipal Water Management, or Civil Engineering with solid knowledge in relevant tasks

  • Extensive experience in implementing complex construction projects

  • Specialist knowledge of procedural operations and technical equipment in wastewater management

  • Comprehensive knowledge of plant engineering in water management

  • Good business management skills

  • Knowledge in construction law, environmental protection, and occupational safety

  • Familiarity with the Federal Water Act and State Water Law

  • Analytical thinking, result orientation, and strong team and communication skills

We offer you remuneration in pay group 12 according to the collective agreement for utilities (TV-V). Depending on your personal qualifications, placement in a lower pay group is possible.
