The Jobcentre is part of the city administration and supports people in securing their livelihood and finding their way back to work. In the area of benefits processing, we ensure that citizen's benefit services under SGB II are processed correctly and promptly.
We are looking for you to join our team as an Order Processing Officer.
Description
Receive applications and make decisions on complex cases, particularly new applications
Advise customers on citizen's benefit (SGB II) and provide information
Collaborate closely with internal departments and external entities (e.g., health insurance, pension insurance)
Act as a technical contact for colleagues and review decisions
Handle ongoing cases, such as renewals, adjustments, and requesting documents
Process appeals, revocations, reimbursements, and review applications
Requirements
Completed degree (e.g., Diploma in Public Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Administration, Bachelor of Laws) or equivalent administrative qualification
Solid knowledge of SGB II and SGB III or willingness to quickly acquire it
Good to excellent German language skills
Social competence and customer/team orientation
Proficiency in MS Office and special software
