Team Leader for Water Meter Systems Operations (m/f/d)

In water supply, we ensure the processing and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipes, pumping stations, and waterworks.

What You Will Achieve with Us

• Lead and strategically develop the Water Meter Systems Operations team under the conditions of continuous modernisation and digitalisation of the metering park

• Provide professional and disciplinary leadership to the current 31 employees

• Manage and optimise the processes for the construction and operation of water meter systems, contributing to their further digitalisation

• Implement current technical and legal developments into work processes

• Resolve challenges to achieve timely work results through mediation within and outside the company

• Participate in expert exchanges on current topics

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Supply Engineering or Industrial Engineering with relevant knowledge in tasks related to the position

• Alternatively: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Engineering or Industrial Engineering with relevant professional experience and additional knowledge to reach a master-level understanding

• Experience in leading employees (leadership and social skills)

• Advanced knowledge of DIN regulations for securing drinking water installations and the operation of water meter systems

• Comprehensive knowledge of the applicable rules for drinking water installation

• Extensive knowledge of the contractual basis of water supply (AVB Water Ordinance/Statute and Calibration Law)

• Strategic and methodological competence

Compensation

We offer remuneration in pay group 12 according to the Tarifvertrag Versorgungsbetriebe (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification in a lower pay group is possible.
