Join the Technical Service team. We are the backbone of all functioning processes and systems, ensuring the supply and disposal infrastructure, property and facility management, and all vehicles run smoothly for Berlin.

Description

What You'll Do With Us

  • Provide technical and disciplinary leadership of the assigned workshop area

  • Responsible for the proper operation of water management facilities for Berliner Wasserbetriebe, drinking fountains, and drinking water installation systems

  • Responsible for organising and conducting proper troubleshooting and maintenance of building technology facilities

  • Comprehensive customer support and technical advice to facility owners regarding maintenance cycles, facility renewals, investment measures, and optimisation of system technology

  • Continuous planning and management of the area's budget

Requirements

Your Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical and Information Technology with relevant, in-depth knowledge of job-related tasks

  • Alternatively: Master Craftsman or state-certified technician in Electrical and Information Technology specialising in Automation Technology or Mechatronics with relevant, in-depth knowledge of job-related tasks and additional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree

  • Extensive experience in the maintenance of water management facilities and technical building equipment

  • Extensive experience in electrical engineering with profound knowledge of relevant standards and legal requirements

  • Detailed knowledge of the Drinking Water Ordinance VDI 6023 Part A

  • Knowledge in SAP and MS Office

  • Required: Class B driving licence

  • Teamwork, leadership skills, customer orientation, and communication skills

Required driving license

  • Car (B, BF17, BE)

Compensation

We offer remuneration in pay group 10 according to the collective agreement for public utility workers (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification may also occur in a lower pay group.
