Within Corporate Governance, we support the board and employees of the Berliner Wasserbetriebe in value-based and sustainable corporate management. We provide transparency to relevant stakeholders, enhance risk awareness, and promote legal certainty.

Description

Your Role with Us

  • Support company management in its oversight function

  • Develop and continually refine key principles, guidelines, and tools for the Internal Control System (ICS), as well as the associated process descriptions and rules

  • Analyze, document, and report on the results of central ICS monitoring, particularly identified risks and deficiencies, and track improvement measures

  • Advise and train leaders and employees on implementing ICS within process design and development

  • Participate in implementing an integrated Corporate Governance system

Requirements

Your Qualifications

  • Completed academic degree (Diploma, Master of Arts, Science, or Laws, or MBA)

  • In fields such as economics, (industrial) engineering, or law, combined with relevant professional knowledge and credentials like external certification according to current professional standards for internal audit, e.g.

    • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

    • COSO "Internal Controls"

    • Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA)

    • Auditor for Internal Audit Systems DIIR

  • Excellent knowledge of ICS, COSO framework, and applicable guidelines

  • Comprehensive knowledge in process management as well as in risk management, compliance management, or internal audit

  • Strong results orientation, communication and assertiveness, resilience, and teamwork skills

  • Desirable: Certificate such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

We offer remuneration in pay grade 12 according to the Public Employer's Collective Agreement (TV-V). Depending on the personal qualifications, classification may also occur in a lower pay grade.
