For our Düsseldorf or Münster location, we are seeking you as an IT Specialist Workplace Services for the Office and IT Infrastructure department.

Description

  • Independently manage the IT workspace, implement, and further develop security requirements

  • Bring initial knowledge of topics such as DORA, regulations, public procurement, and license management

  • Ensure stable IT operations and continuously optimise the IT workspace and media technology

  • Monitor and ensure the integrity and availability of managed applications

  • Manage and oversee the external IT service provider for the IT workspace

  • Secure clients based on the latest Windows versions, including M365, and comply with regulatory requirements

  • Participate in the implementation of cloud products such as MS Copilot

  • Conduct and support public procurement procedures and undertake ongoing license management

Requirements

  • Completed studies in natural sciences or economics, particularly in computer science or business informatics, with at least 3 years of professional experience – or extensive work experience in the described environment with relevant additional qualifications

  • Ability to understand the different requirements of various user groups

  • Experience in 1st and 2nd level support

  • Knowledge of ITIL-based operations management is an advantage

  • Understanding of key infrastructure services such as DNS or Active Directory

  • Initial experience in participating in or leading projects

  • Logical-analytical thinking and a structured approach to work

  • Creativity and pragmatism in problem-solving

  • Independence and initiative

  • Teamwork skills and communication ability

  • Cost and quality awareness as well as high customer orientation
