Leader in Standpipe Service (m/f/d)

In water supply, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipes, pumps, and waterworks.

Your Impact with Us

• Leading the Standpipe Service team, currently consisting of 5 employees

• Coordinating work processes to ensure timely provision of standpipes for various events, including deposit and contract management

• Setting the conditions for compliance with all technical, hygienic, and legal standards in relation to the current status of mobile drinking water supply

• Collaborating with internal departments, e.g., laboratories, and external partners, e.g., health authorities, to ensure smooth operations

• Conducting complex consumption billing

• Handling customer complaints

Your Profile

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration with relevant knowledge in job-related tasks

• Alternatively: Certified Industrial Master, Technician, or Specialist with extensive knowledge in consumption management, environmental protection technology in water supply and disposal, building technology, heating, ventilation, and sanitary technology, with in-depth knowledge in fluid mechanics, control and regulation technology, along with relevant job experience and additional knowledge comparable to a Bachelor's degree

• Comprehensive legal knowledge, particularly in contract law

• Extensive knowledge of drinking water installation standards and the TVO

• Class B driving license

• Leadership skills

• Problem-solving ability

Compensation

We offer compensation according to pay group 9 under the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification may alternatively occur in a lower pay group.
