Employee Investment Processing/Operational Tasks - Hydraulics (m/f/d)

We, the Technical Control, ensure wastewater distribution for Berlin & surroundings through operational & infrastructure tasks, process control & operational data, plant expansion, wastewater management, and control technology.

Your Impact

• Focus: Hydraulic design and evaluation of wastewater facilities based on flow theory in pressure and free-surface systems (e.g., shafts and special structures)

• Development, planning, review, and coordination of particularly complex investment projects in wastewater disposal with overarching strategic significance

• Initiation of needs assessments and development of complex briefs for strategic investment projects

• Review of particularly complex construction design documents, execution drawings, and process flow charts for construction measures in pumping station and sewage plant areas

• Participation in the development of site development concepts

• Advising the organisational unit on strategic issues

Your Profile

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering in Construction, Urban Water Management, Environmental Technology, or Civil Engineering with comprehensive knowledge relevant to the position

• Alternatively: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering in Construction, Urban Water Management, or Civil Engineering with comprehensive knowledge relevant to the position

• Relevant experience in implementing complex construction projects

• Specialised knowledge of process flows and technical equipment in the field of wastewater management

• Comprehensive knowledge of plant engineering in the water industry, including DWA guidelines

• Knowledge in building law, environmental protection, and occupational safety

• Knowledge of the Water Resources Act and the State Water Act

• Analytical thinking, result-orientation, and strong team and communication skills

Compensation

We offer compensation in pay group 12 according to the TV-V tariff agreement for supply companies. Depending on personal qualifications, classification in a lower pay group may be possible.
