Investment Management/Operations - Hydraulics (m/f/d)

We, the Technical Management, ensure wastewater distribution for Berlin & surroundings with the areas of Operations & Infrastructure, Process Control & Operating Data, Plant Expansion, Wastewater Management, and Control Technology.

What You'll Do with Us

• Focus: Hydraulic design and evaluation of wastewater treatment facilities based on fluid dynamics for both pressure and gravity systems (e.g., shafts and special structures)

• Developing, planning, reviewing, and coordinating particularly complex investment projects in wastewater management with overarching strategic significance

• Initiating needs assessments and creating complex specifications for strategic investment projects

• Reviewing particularly intricate construction design documents, execution drawings, and process flow diagrams for construction projects in pumping and treatment plants

• Contributing to the development of site development concepts

• Advising the organisational unit on strategic issues

What You Bring

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering - Construction, Urban Water Management, Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering with extensive knowledge of job-relevant tasks

• Alternatively: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering - Construction, Urban Water Management or Civil Engineering with extensive knowledge of job-relevant tasks

• Relevant experience in implementing complex construction projects

• Specialised knowledge of procedures and technical equipment in wastewater management

• Comprehensive knowledge of plant engineering in the water industry, including DWA guidelines

• Knowledge of construction law, environmental protection, and occupational safety

• Understanding of the Federal Water Act and the State Water Act

• Analytical thinking skills, results orientation, and strong team and communication skills

Compensation

We offer remuneration in pay group 12 according to the Pay Agreement for Utility Companies (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification may also occur in a lower pay group.
