Engineer Building Services for Fire Protection Projects (f/m/d)

What You'll Do with Us

• Implement fire protection projects across all phases, from initial assessment, planning, and tendering, through to site management and final project handover to building management

• Collaborate within an in-house planning team across all trades

• Independently provide services in accordance with HOAI LP 1-8 for heating, ventilation, and sanitation systems, including fire extinguishing and smoke extraction systems

• Prepare specifications and performance descriptions

• Technically assess and evaluate offers

• Conduct construction management activities and independent site supervision

What You Bring

• Academic degree (Master, Dipl.-Ing. Uni) in Facility Engineering and relevant professional experience

• Alternatively: Academic degree (Master, Dipl.-Ing. Uni) as Engineer in Building and Energy Management, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology, Building Services, Renewable Energy Systems with relevant professional experience, or a Bachelor’s in the aforementioned fields with solid knowledge in planning and supervision of technical building installations and relevant professional experience

• Excellent knowledge of Berlin/Brandenburg building regulations and ventilation/pipework guidelines, DIN, HOAI, VOB

• Specialist planning qualification for technical fire protection is desirable

• Proficient in MS Office, CAD, and AVA programs

• Class B driving licence

• Teamwork skills, responsibility, self-management

Compensation

We offer a salary in pay group 12 according to the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification in a lower pay group may occur.
