Intro
In wastewater disposal, we ensure the transport of sewage and rainwater from the entire Berlin city area to the treatment plants. We build, operate, and maintain our sewers, wastewater pressure pipelines, and pumping stations.
Description
What You'll Do with Us
Resolve malfunctions/damages to facilities and buildings of pumping stations, the wastewater pressure pipeline network (ADL), wastewater disposal facilities, and rainwater management systems
Identify, secure, and initiate first steps to rectify damages in the sewerage network and house connections
Determine and implement immediate on-site measures, ensuring communication lines are maintained
Manage on-site control of pumping stations/groups during remote connection failures in coordination with the control centre
Conduct maintenance and functionality checks on the ADL network and associated structures
Operate specialised vehicles and their additional equipment
Requirements
Your Profile
Qualified in wastewater technology with in-depth knowledge relevant to the tasks, or completed vocational training in pipe, canal, and industrial services with relevant experience
Alternatively: completed vocational training in mechanical engineering, precision mechanics, or industrial mechanics with relevant experience
Extensive knowledge of wastewater disposal systems from a static, hydraulic, mechanical, and operational perspective
Proficiency in environmental protection, occupational safety, and water regulations/laws
Required: Class CE driving licence
Health suitability (G 26.3 respiratory protection qualification)
Knowledge of UBI and SAP
Customer contact training
Effective, efficient work approach, commitment, and reliability
Required driving license

What We Offer
Compensation
We offer remuneration according to pay group 7 of the Collective Agreement for Public Utilities (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, lower pay group placement is possible.
An additional allowance is provided under TV-V.
Conditions
The role is conducted in a three-shift system (early, late, and night shifts).
If you do not have the required C/CE driving licence, we can provide training.
