We, the Technical Control, ensure the wastewater distribution for Berlin & surrounding regions through operating tasks & infrastructure, process control & operational data, facility expansion, wastewater management, and control technology.

Description

What You Will Do with Us

  • Coordinate and control the operational processes of wastewater transport to ensure disposal to treatment plants (even during disruptions and unavailability of facilities).

  • Initiate countermeasures in case of compromise to disposal and access security.

  • Prioritise fault notifications and initiate countermeasures such as troubleshooting service.

  • Analyse operating conditions to optimise the operation of the transport business.

  • Provide technical leadership for the team: including ensuring 24/7 deployment planning within the team, conducting employee interviews, providing training, and fulfilling the company's supervisory duties.

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering with relevant comprehensive knowledge in related tasks or Bachelor's degree in Water Management or Environmental Technology with relevant comprehensive knowledge in related tasks.

  • Alternatively: Wastewater Foreperson or Technician in Process Engineering, Water Management, or Environmental Technology with relevant comprehensive knowledge in related tasks, completed vocational training as a Water and Waste Manager or Specialist for Wastewater Technology with further qualification as a Wastewater Foreperson or Industrial Foreperson in the field of Metal or Electrical Engineering with relevant comprehensive knowledge in related tasks, or completed vocational training as a Water and Waste Manager or Specialist for Wastewater Technology with further qualification as a Technician in Mechanical Engineering or Automation Technology, Technician in Environmental Protection Technology or Urban Water Management/Civil Engineering and relevant occupational experience in related tasks.

  • Leadership training.

  • Excellent knowledge in Mechanical Engineering and Water Management, Hydraulics, Pumping Station and Conveyor System.

  • Understanding of the overall context of wastewater drainage, transport, and cleaning.

  • Knowledge of specialised software such as PI, SAP PM, as well as in process control engineering.

  • Familiarity with water authority permits.

  • Strong sense of duty, high responsibility, and analytical thinking.

Compensation

We offer remuneration in pay group 10 according to the Collective Agreement for Utility Companies (TV-V). Depending on the personal qualifications, classification may also occur in a lower pay group.

An allowance under TV-V is also provided.
