In water supply, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipelines, pumps, and water works.
Description
What You Will Achieve with Us
Operating specialised vehicles and construction machinery
Working in rapid filtration systems for filter material discharge (restoring freeboard height)
Working in groundwater recharge basins (conducting clearance with specialised vehicles)
Operating a tanker and participating in tanker standby duties
Landscaping and maintenance work on the premises and in groundwater recharge basins
Participating in winter service
Performing minor repairs on vehicles and equipment
Requirements
What You Bring
Completed training as a plant mechanic
Alternatively: Completed training as a supply and waste management specialist, water supply technology expert, or a qualification in a metalworking profession
Valid Class CE driving licence
Ideally, knowledge of the Drinking Water Ordinance, Radiation Protection Act, and hygiene regulations
Desirable: hazardous materials driving licence (ADR certificate), construction machinery licence, chainsaw certificate
Required driving license

We offer you remuneration in pay group 6 according to the collective agreement for utilities (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification may also occur in a lower pay group.
