Craftsperson for Tank and Building Maintenance - Southern Region (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities with Us

• Carrying out maintenance work on suction and retention spaces and removing inflow obstructions in pumping stations

• Conducting cleaning work on intake structures and other tanks and buildings

• Checking the surrounding atmosphere for safety using gas measurements

• Providing safety measures in gas hazard zones

• Performing technical maintenance on pumping station facilities in gas hazard areas and partially on shaft pumping stations

• Inspection of facilities requiring testing in pumping stations within gas hazard zones

• Overseeing pumping station construction works in gas hazard areas (deactivating, gas clearance, personnel safety)

Your Profile

• Completed training as a wastewater technician

• Alternatively: Completed technical vocational training as a sewer specialist; supply and disposal technician; pipeline constructor; water supply specialist or specialist in sewer, pipe and industrial services; or plant mechanic for heating, sanitation, and air conditioning technology

• Knowledge of the pumping station sector, environmental protection and occupational safety

• Extensive knowledge of wastewater disposal systems from an operational perspective

• Valid driving license class C1

• Desirable: Crane training

• Physical resilience, suitable for wearing respiratory protection according to G26.3

• Teamwork skills and reliability

Compensation

We offer compensation in pay group 5 according to the Supply Companies Collective Agreement (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, a placement in a lower pay group may also occur.

Additionally, a supplement is paid according to TV-V.
