We, the Target Specifications & Strategies team, work within the Wastewater Management unit to develop strategic and conceptual guidelines for facilities and networks (strategies, site development concepts, drainage concepts, etc.) and handle asset and order management as well as controlling.
Description
What you will accomplish with us
Prepare reports on the structural condition of facilities and derive actionable recommendations
Provide expert guidance in sewage treatment plants for engineering and construction issues within Asset Management and support decentralised departments
Consolidate and develop an overarching strategy for prioritising and evaluating structures based on key criteria
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of an asset register for engineering structures
Ensure asset management of sewage treatment plant structures in compliance with operational, legal, political, and strategic requirements
Establish and maintain a legally compliant documentation and monitoring system
Requirements
What you bring to the table
Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on construction, such as structural engineering, building construction, water management or
Master of Science in Industrial Engineering with a focus on construction and thorough knowledge relevant to the position
Alternatively: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on construction, such as structural engineering, building construction, or water management, or Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering with a focus on construction, with experience and knowledge in areas such as structural analysis, construction condition assessment, application of technical regulations, construction management, with thorough knowledge relevant to the position as well as additional knowledge sufficient to meet the level of knowledge provided in a Master's programme
Solid experience and extensive knowledge in civil engineering, particularly in building assessment concerning structural, construction, material technology, and construction physics aspects, plant construction, and technical construction management
Experience in evaluating the structural safety of engineering structures according to DIN 1076 and VDI 6200
Knowledge of structural engineering as well as regulations and ordinances for the operation and maintenance of buildings and their technical systems
Knowledge of plant construction/building law according to HOAI, VOB, VOL, BGB
Analytical and systematic thinking as well as results-oriented action

Compensation
We offer remuneration in pay group 12 according to the Collective Agreement for Utilities (TV-V). Depending on individual qualifications, classification in a lower pay group might be possible.
