Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)

In water supply, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipes, pumps, and water plants.

What You'll Do:

• Operate wells, all water treatment systems, and machinery

• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repair work, including documentation in SAP

• Troubleshooting issues with wells, water treatment systems, as well as machinery, building, and operational technology

• Cover for process management colleagues in shift operations

• Participate in on-call duties at the Tegel main plant

Your Profile:

• Qualified professional in water supply technology, industrial mechanic, or mechatronics technician with relevant mechanical knowledge and extensive expertise in operating a water plant

• Alternatively, a completed technical vocational training with several years of experience in operating a utility company in critical infrastructure

• Strong expertise in starting and shutting down, as well as operating water supply systems

• Good knowledge in process automation of pump systems, maintenance, and automation (e.g., frequency converters)

• A valid Class B driving licence

• Willingness to participate in professional development

• Teamwork skills, reliability, and awareness of environmental and hygiene standards

• Device operation certification for industrial trucks and hoists is desirable

Compensation:

We offer you a remuneration in pay group 7 under the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification in a lower pay group may occur.
