In water supply, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipes, pumps, and water plants.<\/p><\/div>

Description

What You'll Do:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Operate wells, all water treatment systems, and machinery<\/p><\/li>

  • Perform maintenance, inspections, and repair work, including documentation in SAP<\/p><\/li>

  • Troubleshooting issues with wells, water treatment systems, as well as machinery, building, and operational technology<\/p><\/li>

  • Cover for process management colleagues in shift operations<\/p><\/li>

  • Participate in on-call duties at the Tegel main plant<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/div>

Requirements

Your Profile:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Qualified professional in water supply technology, industrial mechanic, or mechatronics technician with relevant mechanical knowledge and extensive expertise in operating a water plant<\/p><\/li>

  • Alternatively, a completed technical vocational training with several years of experience in operating a utility company in critical infrastructure<\/p><\/li>

  • Strong expertise in starting and shutting down, as well as operating water supply systems<\/p><\/li>

  • Good knowledge in process automation of pump systems, maintenance, and automation (e.g., frequency converters)<\/p><\/li>

  • A valid Class B driving licence<\/p><\/li>

  • Willingness to participate in professional development<\/p><\/li>

  • Teamwork skills, reliability, and awareness of environmental and hygiene standards<\/p><\/li>

  • Device operation certification for industrial trucks and hoists is desirable<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/div>

Required driving license

  • Car (B, BF17, BE)

We offer you a remuneration in pay group 7 under the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification in a lower pay group may occur.<\/p>
