Kitchen Assistant (m/f/d)

Your Role with Us:

• Preparation of hot and cold dishes according to predetermined standards, recipes, and calculations, in line with the range of Berliner Wasserbetriebe.

• Preparation of desserts, salads, breakfast offerings, and cold selections for events.

• Presentation of products, pricing, and proper labelling.

• Advising, recommending, packaging, and selling products within the operational area.

• Responsible for standardised table setting and clearing in conference services.

Your Profile:

• Completed training as a chef or specialised sales associate in the grocery retail sector with relevant professional experience.

• Alternatively: Completed training as a hospitality specialist with relevant professional experience in the hospitality, system catering, or grocery retail sector.

• Solid professional experience in gastronomy or system catering within the last 6 years.

• Knowledge of food labelling requirements.

• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and food hygiene.

• Familiarity with cashier technology and accounting.

• Maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment in the area of responsibility (coffee machines, cooling technology).

• Customer orientation, friendliness, and ability to work in a team.

Salary:

We offer you a remuneration in salary group 4 according to the Tarifvertrag Versorgungsbetriebe (TV-V). Depending on individual qualifications, a classification into a lower salary group may be possible.
