Trainer in Water Supply Technology with a Focus on Waterworks (m/f/d)

What You'll Achieve with Us

• Organise the deployment of trainee environmental technologists specialising in water supply at the Friedrichshagen Waterworks.

• Conduct theoretical and practical lessons according to the training regulations.

• Teach the skills of the water control system for managing interconnected waterworks.

• Convey knowledge in occupational, health, and environmental protection as well as legal regulations.

• Train high standards of drinking water quality and hygiene.

• Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks in water treatment, such as clarifier cleaning, work on filters, cleaning of clean water tanks, and sampling of technological samples.

What You Bring

• Completed training as a Water Supply Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or Mechatronics Technician with relevant mechanical knowledge and extensive knowledge of waterworks operations

• Alternatively: Completed technical vocational training with several years of practical experience in operating a utility company in critical infrastructure

• Profound expertise in process automation

• Completed AEVO

• Good knowledge of operating water supply systems

• Driver's licence Class B

• Pedagogical skills and high social competence

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation

We offer remuneration in pay group 7 according to the collective agreement for utilities (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification can also occur in a lower pay group.

Additionally, a supplement is paid according to TV-V.
