We in wastewater disposal ensure the removal of waste and rainwater from the entire Berlin city area to the treatment plants. We build, operate, and maintain our sewers, wastewater pressure pipelines, and pumping stations.
Description
What You Will Move with Us
Rectification of faults/damages in the structures and buildings of pump stations, the wastewater pressure pipeline network (ADL), wastewater disposal systems, and rainwater management
Carrying out damage detection, damage control, and initial damage rectification in the sewer network and house connections
Defining and implementing all immediate on-site measures and ensuring the reporting chain
Performing on-site control of pumping stations/groups in the event of remote monitoring failures, in coordination with the central control station
Performing maintenance and functional control on the ADL network as well as related structures
Operating specialised vehicles and their ancillary equipment
Requirements
What You Bring
Qualified in wastewater technology with thorough knowledge in relevant tasks, a completed vocational training in pipe, sewer, and industrial service with thorough knowledge in relevant tasks, or a completed vocational training in industrial mechanics with thorough knowledge in relevant tasks
Alternatively: Completed vocational training in mechanical engineering with thorough knowledge in relevant tasks, completed vocational training in precision engineering with thorough knowledge in relevant tasks or a completed vocational training in industrial mechanics with thorough knowledge in relevant tasks
Excellent knowledge of wastewater disposal systems from static, hydraulic, mechanical, and operational perspectives
Knowledge of environmental protection, occupational safety, the Water Resources Act, and the State Water Act
Knowledge of UBI, SAP
Suitability (Fitness G 26.3 respiratory protection)
Customer contact training
Required: Class CE driving licence
Effective, efficient working approach, commitment, and reliability
Required driving license

What We Offer
Salary
We offer remuneration according to pay group 7 under the tariff agreement for utility companies (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification may also occur in a lower pay group. Additionally, there is an allowance payment according to TV-V.
