Service Technician in Wastewater Disposal (m/f/d) - Northern Region

What You Will Do With Us

• Eliminate faults/damage to equipment and buildings in pumping stations, the wastewater pressure pipeline network (ADL), wastewater disposal systems, and rainwater management installations

• Conduct damage detection, damage control, and initial damage repair in the sewage network and house connections

• Determine and execute all immediate measures on-site and ensure the reporting chain

• Perform on-site management of pumping stations/groups in the event of remote control failures, in coordination with the control centre

• Carry out maintenance and functional checks on the ADL network and related structures

• Operate specialised vehicles and their additional equipment

What You Bring

• Qualification in wastewater technology with solid knowledge relevant to the job, completed training as a specialist in pipe, sewer, and industrial service with solid knowledge relevant to the job, or completed training in industrial mechanics with solid knowledge relevant to the job

• Alternatively: Completed training in mechanical engineering with solid knowledge relevant to the job, completed training in precision mechanics with solid knowledge relevant to the job, or completed training in industrial mechanics with solid knowledge relevant to the job

• Very good knowledge of wastewater disposal systems from a static, hydraulic, mechanical, and operational perspective

• Knowledge in environmental protection, occupational safety, the Water Resources Act, and state water laws

• Familiarity with UBI, SAP

• Suitability (fitness to wear respiratory protection, qualification G 26.3)

• Customer contact training

• Required: Driving licence class CE

• Effective, efficient work approach, commitment, and reliability

Remuneration

We offer remuneration in pay group 7 according to the Collective Agreement for Utilities (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification in a lower pay group may be possible. Additionally, an allowance according to TV-V is provided.
