Description
This is how the programme runs
The internship programme takes place from 01.12.2026 to 31.05.2027. Three days a week, you will work at Berliner Wasserbetriebe and get to know our work areas.
Additionally, our cooperation partner provides you with offers that make it easier for you to start your career in Germany. This allows you to gain practical experience, further develop your German skills, and step by step prepare for an application at Berliner Wasserbetriebe.
This is what you can expect in practice
During your practical days, you'll work in an area that matches your qualifications, experiences, and interests.
Possible tasks include:
Operation and further development of IT systems & system integration
Automation and control of technical plants
Troubleshooting and error correction
Digitalisation, process optimisation and system integration
Collaboration with technical departments
You will start by getting to know Berliner Wasserbetriebe at a welcome event and receive all the important information for your start.
Throughout the entire programme, a dedicated contact will support you in your workday and assist you with any questions.
Requirements
What you bring
A completed degree or training in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Automation Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
You already live in Germany.
Ideally, you have German language skills at level B2.
You wish to establish a career in Germany and continue to develop both professionally and linguistically.
