In water supply, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of wells, pipe networks, and waterworks.
Description
What You'll Do with Us
You will perform underground and pipeline work in accordance with the specifications of the site management, taking technical regulations into account. This includes, for example:
Maintenance and repair work on drinking water network systems, including trench shoring
Operating vehicles, possibly with trailers, and construction machinery following appropriate instruction/training
Documenting changes to the systems by creating installation sketches and measurements
Operating fittings of the drinking water distribution system, such as shut-offs and flushes
Requirements
What You Bring
Completed training in a specialisation in road, underground, or pipeline construction or in metalworking/supply industry with substantial practical knowledge in role-relevant tasks
Driving licence class C1 or higher and machinery certificates
Flexibility regarding the workplace for city-wide deployment in Berlin
Welder’s qualification GW 330
Knowledge of civil engineering in accordance with DIN 4124 and traffic security according to RSA 21
Reliability, physical resilience within the scope of work and tasks, and ability to work in a team
Required driving license
- Car (B, BF17, BE)
What We Offer
Salary
We offer a salary in pay group 6 according to the Tarifvertrag Versorgungsbetriebe (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification in a lower pay group is possible.
In addition, a TV-V allowance is paid.
