Hubject Payments is a new subsidiary of Hubject GmBH, which will provide payment services to eMobility players. Hubject Payments will be a licensed institute supervised by the BaFin.
As the CRO of Hubject Payments, you will oversee the 2nd line of defense, which includes risk management, compliance, fraud prevention, and data and IT security. Together with the CEO, you will form the management board and oversee the day-to-day business of the company, determine the strategic direction, and manage the shareholders and other stakeholders. As the company only starts operations in 2024, the set up will be lean and includes outsourcing, so you will have a small team reporting to you at the beginning, but you will grow the business and the team. This will all be in a dynamic environment, which will require creativity, problem-solving capabilities and flexibility. Together with the whole team, you will be building up a new company
from scratch.

Your Tasks
* Run the company together with the CEO as management board, determine the strategic direction and grow the business;
* Communicate with shareholders and other stakeholders about the business' risk profile and assessments;
* Manage a small team with both internal and outsourced employees;
* Act as point of contact for regulatory authorities;
* Look after risk management and formulate strategic action plans to mitigate Hubject Payment's primary threats;
* Coordinate the development and implementation of new data and IT security policies in line with regulations;
* Oversee compliance and fraud prevention within the company and ensure full compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
