Description

Programme Overview

The internship programme takes place from 01 December 2026 to 31 May 2027. You will work three days a week at Berliner Wasserbetriebe, gaining insights into our work areas.

In addition, our partner offers support to help you enter the workforce in Germany. You'll gain practical experience, develop your German language skills, and step by step prepare for an application with Berliner Wasserbetriebe.

What to Expect in Practice

During your practical days, you'll work in an area that matches your qualifications, experience, and interests.

Potential tasks include:

  • Planning and designing plants, networks, and construction projects

  • Project management and site supervision

  • Technical implementation and optimisation of existing systems

  • Collaboration with internal departments and external partners

  • Documentation and quality assurance

Upon starting, you'll get to know Berliner Wasserbetriebe at a welcome event, where you'll receive all important information for your entry.

Throughout the programme, a dedicated contact person will guide and support you in your daily work and answer any questions you may have.

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering

  • You already reside in Germany.

  • Ideally, you possess German language skills at level B2.

  • You wish to establish a professional career in Germany and want to develop both professionally and linguistically.
