In water supply, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipes, pump stations, and waterworks.
Description
What You Will Achieve with Us
Organise the deployment of trainees in environmental technology with a focus on waterworks at Friedrichshagen
Conduct theoretical and practical training according to the training regulations
Impart knowledge of the water control system for managing waterworks in the network
Provide knowledge in occupational, health, and environmental protection as well as legal regulations
Train standards for drinking water quality and hygiene
Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks in water treatment, such as scrubbing, filter maintenance, cleaning of clean water containers, and sampling
Requirements
Your Profile
Completed training as a water supply technician, industrial mechanic, or mechatronics technician with mechanical expertise and extensive knowledge of waterworks operations
Alternatively: Completed technical vocational training with several years of practical experience in operating a critical infrastructure supply company
Solid expertise in process automation
Completed AEVO certification
Good technical knowledge in operating water supply systems
Class B driving licence
Pedagogical skills and high social competence
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Required driving license

What We Offer
Compensation
We offer you remuneration according to pay group 7 under the Collective Agreement for Public Utilities (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification may also be in a lower pay group.
Additionally, an allowance is paid according to TV-V.
