In water supply, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipes, pumping stations, and waterworks.

Description

What You Will Do with Us

  • Operate specialised vehicles and construction machinery

  • Work in rapid filtration plants for discharging filter materials (restoring the freeboard height)

  • Conduct operations in groundwater enrichment basins (clearance with specialised vehicles)

  • Drive a tanker and participate in tank availability

  • Perform grounds and shrub maintenance on sites and in groundwater enrichment basins

  • Participate in winter maintenance services

  • Carry out minor repairs on vehicles and equipment

Requirements

Your Profile

  • Completed training as a plant mechanic

  • Alternatively: Completed training as a utilities provider, specialist in water supply technology, or a qualification in a metalworking profession

  • Valid Class CE driving licence

  • Ideally, knowledge of drinking water regulations (TrinkwV), radiation protection laws (StrlSchG), and hygiene regulations

  • Desirable: hazardous materials driving licence (ADR certificate), construction machinery licence, chainsaw certificate

Required driving license

  • Truck (C, CE, C1, C1E)

Remuneration

We offer a salary of 48,000 to 56,000 euros annually, according to the utilities companies' collective agreement (TV-V).
