At Berliner Wasserbetriebe, you'll help us ensure that Berlin is supplied with water and our wastewater is treated safely every day. You'll work in an operationally critical role, meaning your work keeps Berlin's water and wastewater systems running smoothly.

Your Start with Us
The programme runs from 01.12.2026 to 31.05.2027.
You will work three days a week at Berliner Wasserbetriebe in an operationally critical role: You will get to know our work, our teams, and various technical tasks.
Additionally, you will receive support for your German language skills and your professional start in Germany.
What You Can Do with Us
During your practical days, you will work in a department that suits you.
You will work with machinery and technical equipment.
You will monitor, maintain, and repair them.
If something doesn't work, you'll identify the issue and help fix it.
Requirements
What You Bring
You have a technical or craft-based qualification, for example, in electrical engineering, metalworking, environmental technology, or logistics.
You already live in Germany.
Ideally, you speak German at level B2.
A category B driving licence is advantageous, but not a requirement.
For some roles, you are willing to work shifts.
