Assistant (m/f/d) BVB Netradio

Borussia Dortmund is not just a globally known football club but also a publicly listed company with over 900 employees and nine subsidiaries. In our IT department, we work on digital technologies and ensure that systems, websites, and stadium technology run smoothly, including the BVB net radio on match days.

We are currently seeking support for the BVB net radio of Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA as a marginal employment opportunity, to start as soon as possible.

• Take charge of directing the BVB net radio on selected match days in Dortmund

• Ensure the technical setup and quality assurance of the broadcasting technology at the workplace

• Constantly monitor and maintain the stability of (streaming) connections

• Incorporate advertising and music partners into the live broadcast according to guidelines

• Record, edit, and play audio files, music, and advertising material during the live broadcast

• Provide technical support to the moderator team during live broadcasts, assist in research, and prompt cues

• Identify, report, and independently resolve technical issues during operations (broadcast technology, stream distribution, web player)

• Document broadcasted content and create backups

• Maintain and update content on bvb.de

• Technical understanding of Windows PCs, audio technology, streaming software, and content management systems (CMS)

• Willingness to work on BVB match days, particularly at weekends and during evenings

• Proven experience in live broadcast production

• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• High level of self-responsibility, reliability, and punctuality

• Solution-oriented approach and confident performance even under stress, with respectful team communication

• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken

• A demonstrable affinity to football and Borussia Dortmund at a professional level
