Pipe Network Specialist for Special Technology (f/m/d)

Your Role and Impact with Us

• You will perform maintenance and repair work on the pipe network

• You will dig trenches, fix pipe damages, repair or replace valves in the drinking water network

• This involves operating vehicles, possibly with trailers, and construction machinery subject to appropriate qualification

• You will document changes to the network in the Berliner Wasserbetriebe systems

• You will operate facilities for drinking water distribution (closures, flushing)

• You are keen to use your skills and energy for Berlin's water supply

Your Profile

• Completed training as a plumbing mechanic in the field of civil engineering with knowledge of relevant tasks

• Alternatively: Completed training in a recognised metal processing or utility industry profession with in-depth knowledge of relevant tasks

• You are interested in the technology and operation of the drinking water distribution network

• Knowledge in urban civil engineering in accordance with DIN 4124

• Ideally, you hold a construction machine operator's licence and a C1E or CE driving licence, or you are willing to acquire these

• You are accustomed to working diligently with high standards of quality and hygiene

• You are reliable, physically fit for the role, and a team player

Compensation

We offer you remuneration in pay group 6 according to the Tarifvertrag Versorgungsbetriebe (TV-V). Depending on your personal qualifications, classification in a lower pay group might occur.

Additionally, an allowance according to TV-V is paid.
