Intro
In the Wastewater Disposal division, we ensure the drainage of waste and rainwater from the entire Berlin area to the treatment plants. We build, operate, and maintain our sewers, wastewater pressure lines, and pump stations.
Description
What You'll Do for Us
Initiate, accompany, oversee, and settle complex construction projects related to the renovation and repair of the public gravity sewer network
Construction projects: Repair of pipes and shafts in urgent construction actions, building of connection channels, construction of structures in the network, cross-media operational construction measures
Conduct preparatory steps for construction
Conduct local construction supervision activities
Monitor the execution and documentation of the construction measure
Evaluate and assess the justification of supplementary proposals
Carry out or arrange control inspections
Measurement, acceptance, settlement, and archiving
Provide professional guidance to sewer masons and staff in sewer construction
Requirements
Your Profile
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with a focus on Urban Water Management or Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering in Construction with relevant and thorough knowledge of job-relevant tasks
Alternatively: Technician in Construction Technology (specialising in Civil Engineering) with additional qualification WB Program Construction Management for complex construction projects/cross-media network construction with relevant and thorough knowledge of job-relevant tasks and additional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree
Extensive experience in construction control and management of network construction measures
Extensive knowledge of sewage disposal systems from a construction, hydraulic, and operational perspective
Required: Class B driving license
Business management knowledge
Knowledge of construction law and road construction (VOB), environmental protection, and occupational safety
Knowledge of the Water Resources Act and the State Water Act
Basics of waste management (e.g., hazardous waste, asbestos)
Qualification according to ZTV-SA 97 and MVAS 99 for workplace safety in public traffic law
Excellent communication skills, solution-oriented thinking, and assertiveness
Required driving license

We offer you a salary in pay group 10 according to the collective agreement for supply companies (TV-V). Depending on the personal requirements, classification in a lower pay group may also occur.
