We, in the treatment plants, ensure the professional cleaning of over 250 million m³ of wastewater annually for Berlin and the surrounding area. Together with our commercial & administrative colleagues, we ensure wastewater purification.

Description

What You'll Accomplish With Us

  • Plan and coordinate operational tasks to ensure a safe, lawful, and efficient workflow

  • Provide specialised leadership to operational service staff

  • Ensure designated inspections and maintenance of plant components in the treatment plant as well as in sludge dewatering and incineration

  • Organise technical shutdowns and document them

  • Conduct employee interviews, define training needs, and enhance staff qualifications

  • Provide training and create educational materials

  • Ensure workplace, health, environmental protection, and the safety of the company and equipment

Requirements

Your Profile

  • Certified Wastewater Supervisor or Industrial Supervisor specialising in metal, chemistry, or mechatronics with several years of comprehensive experience in relevant tasks

  • Alternatively: Technician in process or machine technology (process or environmental process technology) including further training (staff leadership) with several years of comprehensive experience in relevant tasks

  • Extensive knowledge in wastewater disposal, treatment, and sludge processing

  • Comprehensive process and mechanical technical knowledge

  • Leadership experience

  • Economic knowledge as well as knowledge in environmental protection and occupational safety

  • Electrically trained personnel

  • Knowledge of specialised applications such as PROSIM, PI, and SAP PM

  • Solution-oriented mindset and targeted communication skills

  • Time and process management competence, teamwork skills, and a high action-oriented approach

Remuneration

We offer a salary in pay group 9 according to the Collective Agreement for Public Utilities (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification in a lower pay group is possible.
